We had a great day at Mini meadow farm. The Staff were very friendly. Great for small children to which is fantastic. They have toilets and a cafe what more do you want with a small child.
The animals are lovely and well looked after. We have been a few times now. We went to feed the lambs she loved it. The entry fee’s :
Feed Bucket £2
Under 2’s free of charge
So cheap and the food buckets are great and go along way. We had one each. They are colour co-ordinated and tell you which food to give which animal. She was excited to learn what certain animals ate.
There’s horses and sheep
Goats and chickens
Cows and rabbits
Ducks and even chicks depending on the time of year.
There’s lots more animals I haven’t named. They have a playground and pedal tractors. In the cafe they do lots of homemade yummy treats. They have hot and cold drinks and a kiddies lunch bag. You get to choose a sandwich a treat and crisps and a drink if I remember. It’s great. She was happy anyway. It also has a little gift shop which is reasonably priced. Full of puzzles, books and animal figures or toy tractors.
Car parking was easy there was a big plot of land to park on right by the farm entrance.
A lovely family day out. We have visited three times so far.
